LADYSMITH – Representative James “Jimmy Boy” Edming (R-Glen Flora) has announced his support for Jon Kaiser (R-Ladysmith) in the Republican Primary for the 29th Senate seat, which is to-be vacated by retiring Senator Jerry Petrowski.

“I’ve known Jon since he was a kid.” Said Edming. “He was raised by a great family, and has worked hard in everything he’s done. He’s coming into this race as an outsider like me, a common sense businessman with a respectable goal of improving the lives of his friends and neighbors.”

Jon is an Investment Advisor with his company, J. Kaiser Management, LLC, he also works as a REALTOR with his family business, Kaiser Realty Inc. “I appreciate my friend Jimmy Boy throwing his support behind me.” Jon said , “Jim is a problem solver, a true patriot that works hard for his constituents. I couldn’t ask for a better endorsement!”

Edming has served the 87th Assembly District (Sawyer, Rusk, Taylor, and parts of Marathon and Clark Counties) since his election in 2014. He boasts a lifetime 90+ rating from the American Conservative Union, an A+ rating from the National Rifle Association, and has won several “Legislator of the Year” awards from trade organizations.

“Jon’s experience in business is fantastic, but what really stands out to me is how he connects with people.” Edming claims, “He wants to meet everyone and truly get to know them, and I can tell you that there aren’t a lot of people in Madison like that. He would serve the people of the 29th Senate District well, and I’m proud to support him.”

The 29th Senate District is composed of all of Rusk and Taylor Counties, as well as parts of Sawyer, Marathon, and Wood counties. The Primary Election is set for Tuesday, August 9th, 2022.
