About Jon:
Born just north of the small town of Ingram in Rusk County, Jon was a graduate of Ladysmith High School in 2013 before attending school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2015, after two years in the Political Science program at Madison, Jon decided to completely change directions, accepting a lucrative job offer in Palm Beach, Florida with a private investment firm. While in Florida, Jon worked with some of the most prolific real estate developers in the country, and the projects that he worked on resulted in the construction of hundreds of single and multi-family homes as well as over 100,000 square feet of commercial space and two hotels.
In Spring 2018, Jon returned to Wisconsin, purchasing a home in Ladysmith with his fiancé, Nicole. He returned to bring many of the ideas and resources from Florida back home, where economic development is greatly needed. That summer, he passed the Series 65 Exam and subsequently registered his investment advisory firm, J. Kaiser Management, LLC. That fall, he returned to schooling at Harvard University, through their Extension School. He has been taking classes while working full-time, and intends to graduate with a Finance degree from either Harvard University or UW-Madison.
Since returning to Wisconsin, Jon has become very active in the community. He was elected as a board member of the Ladysmith Community Industrial Development Corporation, facilitating economic development projects in the area. In 2021, Jon was appointed to the board of the Flambeau Valley Arts Association, bringing in a variety of nationally renowned entertainment to the area. That Spring, he launched his event promotions company, JK Productions, LLC, and announced the return of Northwoods Rock Rally, which sold out far in advance of the festival. This year, he announced the addition of Northwoods Country Rally, and several additional events at the Tony Area Community Center, an event venue and home of the Tony Hayshakers baseball organization, which he co-founded in 2012.
Jon has been politically active since he was in high school. He brought Congressman Sean Duffy to speak to his fellow Ladysmith High School students when he was class President. In 2014, he encouraged James “Jimmy Boy” Edming to run for the 87th Assembly District, and managed the campaign, which he won with over 66% of the vote. In Madison, he served as the Vice Chairman of the Wisconsin Federation of College Republicans under two chairmen, Tim Duffy and Matt Walker. In Florida, he was elected President of the Palm Beach County Young Republicans, where he worked with many candidates from local city councilmen all the way up to President Donald Trump. This past year, he was elected to the board of the REALTORS Association of Northwest Wisconsin Political Action Committee, where he works to vet candidates and advocate for property rights.
In his free time, Jon enjoys skiing, attending concerts, playing baseball, singing with the Glen Flora Lutheran Church choir, visiting breweries, and traveling across this beautiful state and country.
